Overall a nice stay, clean bathroom and perfect location for the motor point arena. Spacious parking is included in the rate, value for money
amazing value, very clean and near the bus stop & easy to get to the Motorway. parking is so convenient.
A classic hotel and the rooms are very clean.
short way from the motorway
Breakfast too expensive, only ceiling shower, noisy (water pipes)
Very modern hotel in good location and with sufficient parking, breakfast for British standards and hotel classification okay. Reception and restaurant staff friendly.
Showers unfortunately only have a fixed shower head on the ceiling with low pressure. Also the cleanliness of the rooms could be better: dark hair was everywhere, the cleaning of the bathroom surfaces was very incomplete and I am not sure if the bed linen for the first night since the last guest was changed.
4 stars rooms, the spa
Location was nice, near city centre by car.
Upon arrival staff were helpful. First impressions of the room were good, it was clean and things appeared to be in working order. However when switching on the tv it kept asking for a pin which was our room number we tried to clear this and it wouldn't go it kept showing clips of porn. The Walls in the hotel must be paper thin, we could hear everything from the right to the left to upstairs, including someone snooring. First morning someone had their radio on full blast at 7am and we were woken up by this. We called the reception and they sorted it out quickly. Also the doors slam very easily so constant door slamming first thing in the morning and at night waking us up. Overall it was an ok stay, but thank goodness we only stayed two nights, don't think we could take anymore door slamming. Would recommend for a short stay only.
The rooms very nicely designed and laid out. The bathroom was excellent..., spotless and very well designed.... By comparison, the hotel reception area felt a little tired and slightly dated. Our initial impressions were that the hotel was "average", but this changed dramatically once we got to our rooms. We would stay there again.
A couple of memebers of our group didn't rate the breakfast....
The general atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and comfortable. The food was good with excellent service.A Shuttle/courtesy bus to the city centre would be a plus
clean, warm rooms, adequate facilities. A little pricey for one night and a little far away from the town centre for our purposes (rugby) but otherwise very good and would recommend.
Just the location for our purposes - there were no nearby pubs/restaurants/cafes or if there were we were not made aware of them.
Although the heating was not working in our room the staff were quick at providing a s-pare radiator
I found thr room and corridor very cold. The heating did not work to start off.
A very good standard, well situated for Cardiff City centre a short taxi trip
Staff were helpful and ordered taxis each day, advised on buses and best route to town, where to park etc.
quite noisey at night, but there was a big rugby game on so to be expected
The staff were very helpful and offered good advise.
Nothing, we were given a twin room after booking a double then we were moved, we were moved to a double room below the boiler room we had no sleep and at 7am the next morning i left with a full 2 day refund! beware of room 323 !!
Rubbish and staff were not that helpfull we did recieve a full refund eventually !
